The Art and Design College has qualifications for the master's degree in the discipline of design which is the national first-level discipline, and the design discipline is a first-rate discipline in Zhejiang Province. There are five undergraduate majors—visual communication design, environmental art design, digital media design, product design, and fine arts. The communication design major was included in the emerging specialty of Zhejiang Province. Master degree covers three majors— design, design management, master of fine art.

There are 72 full-time teachers, including 33 teachers with senior titles, 18 master supervisors, and 15 teachers with doctor’s degree. Many teachers have experience in studying abroad or visiting the United States, Britain, France, Japan, South Korea, Singapore and other countries. 1 is selected as “the second level of 151 talents in Zhejiang Province ", and 1 is selected as “the third level of 151 talents in Zhejiang Province ".

Now there are 884 full-time undergraduates, postgraduates, and international students, and the passing rate of undergraduates' English classes 4 and 6 is nearly 50%.The Art and Design College has 884 people of full-time undergraduate students, foreign students, master students, and has successfully cultivated 2,654 graduates.
